We’re bringing Brian “Fox” Ellis, an internationally acclaimed author, storyteller, historian, and naturalist to Nature At The Confluence to bring John Audubon to life!   Brian, portraying John Audubon the artist, will be featured in two programs on Sunday, May 16.

We are presenting these FREE programs in partnership with Sinnissippi Audubon and Green-Rock Audubon Society.

9am – Bird Hike With Audubon featuring Brian “Fox” Ellis

Take A Walk With John Audubon! Brian “Fox” Ellis, portraying John Audubon the artist, will lead a unique bird watching adventure as he regales you with his in-depth observations of the species we happen to see along the Rock River Birding and Hiking Trail. Peak Spring migration is happening at this time, so we should see lots of bird activity and will be able to view activity in an active eagle nest.  Registration is required. Register here.

1pm – “Adventures With Audubon” Program with Brian “Fox” Ellis

Come gather ’round as Brian “Fox” Ellis, portraying John Audubon the artist, weaves stories of his travels in the wildest places on the planet. Listen to tales of his adventures as he accomplishes something no one had ever done before: drawing every bird in North America.
