A Remembrance Gathering of Doreen’s friends and family will be on Saturday, October 3, 2-4pm at Nature At The Confluence, 306 Dickop Street, South Beloit, IL.
We’ll have a big fire going in our fireplace, and you can enjoy roasting S’mores and walk the new “Doreen Dalman Woodland Trail” and our other trails. Therese Oldenburg, Executive Director of Nature At The Confluence will be there to give tours or answer questions. In case of inclement weather, the gathering will be held inside the Nature Learning Center.
Friends of Doreen Dalman have selected to support an outdoor project at Nature At The Confluence in Doreen’s memory. Doreen was involved in the early planning stages of Nature At The Confluence in her role as Head Librarian at South Beloit Library. She was very involved in supporting programming there.
Donations to this fund will support development of a new woodland trail along Kelly Creek which will be named after Doreen and a metal memorial bench placed at the nature center building.
If you would like to donate to the Doreen Dalman Remembrance Fund you can fill out the form below.
If you prefer to mail a check, you may mail it to: Nature At The Confluence, 306 Dickop Street, South Beloit, IL 61080 and put “Doreen Dalman Remembrance Fund” in the memo line.
