Community Science: Snakes

July 8 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

$5.00 – $10.00

Snakes play an important role in our ecosystem, yet there is still so much we don’t know about them! Learn about local snake populations from our guest herpetologist Nathan Kutok, and discover how you can volunteer to help monitor snakes at Nature At The Confluence. We will begin with an indoor presentation, followed by a guided hike to look for snakes under our cover objects. Long pants are advised if you want to participate in looking for snakes. This event is recommended for ages 8 and up.
