Hibernation and Migration Revealed

April 1 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$5.00

Do animals really sleep all winter? Where do the fish go? Find out the answers to these questions and more, and explore our trails in search of signs of animal activity. We will be reading books on hibernation and migration of local species and discussing what we learned from each book. After story time, children will be challenged to engineer their own winter den for animals, and take a guided hike looking for the first signs of animals this spring.

This event is best suited for ages 6-10. $5 per child, there is no charge for accompanying adults. Thanks to support from the Judith H. Adams Fund for the purpose of nature literacy, you can use the coupon code nature2023 to receive free admission to this program!
