Take a peek into the creek and lets find out what critters live in Turtle Creek! Come discover the underwater world of macroinvertebrates and learn what they can tell us about how healthy (or unhealthy) a stream really is! You can choose to stay on the ground and observe & learn about the specimens we’ve collected and talk to our naturalists. Or you can climb into the shallow creek to make your own discoveries with our naturalist! Your choice! You’ll also learn about our watershed with our interactive Watershed Model and learn about our restoration work on Kelly Creek and more!
This free community program is presented by Nature At The Confluence, Welty Environmental Center and The Lincoln Academy.
