Skyfishing for Moths

Discover the insect life that thrives in the dark! Join our staff and Joni Denker, Conservation Supervisor for the Rockford Park District, to go “skyfishing” – observe and identify the moths and insects that are attracted to light at night. The evening will begin with a brief indoor program, followed by observation and identification outdoors. 

All ages are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. There is no registration for this event and we encourage a $5 per person donation which can be made in cash or through our donation page.
