Nature At The Confluence is celebrating our official opening for the summer by helping kids and their families discover and learn about nature with a free Nature Exploration Pack for kids ages 4-7.
These packs are made possible through a donation by the Judith H. Adams Fund to support Nature Literacy. Nature Exploration Packs will be available at Nature At The Confluence Learning Center, Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-3 pm and Sunday, 12-4 pm, closed on Monday.
The nature packs for kids ages 4-7 include a nature book that highlights bugs and pollinators, with choice of one book, such as a “read to me” book, or a book for reading levels beginner through fluent. A Spanish version is also available. Also in the pack is a bug box, bug net, magnifying glass, birding information for families.
- Families are invited to stay and spend time exploring the grounds at the nature center using their new Nature Exploration Pack. They can also pick up Woods Of Wonder Explorer’s Quest or Five Senses Scavenger Hunt sheets to continue their outdoor exploration. The live Monarch Magic exhibit is also available for viewing.
