Nature At The Confluence Discover Wisconsin Beloit Turtle Creek

Mariah Haberman and Therese Oldenburg checking out the birds near Turtle Creek

Nature At The Confluence is very proud and excited to be featured on Discover Wisconsin’s “Beloit – Expect the Unexpected” episode. While we are physically located in Illinois, we are part of the Greater Beloit area, and are connected by our beautiful Turtle Creek and Rock River. Therese Oldenburg, executive director of Nature At The Confluence spent a whole day with host Mariah Haberman, furnishing kayaks and guiding Mariah on a paddle in Turtle Creek starting in at beautiful Tiffany Bridge. We then headed to Nature At the Confluence to show her how you can discover nature in the middle of an urban area.
