Creativity At The Confluence presents this 5-week drawing course with a focus on the natural world
This 5-week course is the perfect opportunity for you to become comfortable drawing from nature. This introductory course will cover the fundamentals of drawing as they apply to depicting nature, and landscapes. The courses are taught by Lemon Wood, an artist currently studying at Beloit College.

Schedule
Sun, Sept 30, 1:30-3:30pm: Introduction to materials, basic technique, and an overview of the general class objectives. (Note: you can register to only attend this Introductory Class if you want to preview this course.)
Oct 7, 1:30-3:30pm: Gesture drawing demo and discussion of form, shadow, and light, then three 20 minute drawings.
Oct 14, 1:30-3:30pm: Contour drawing explanation and demo followed by a series of 1-15 minute drawings, blind contour and critique of the last two classes work.
Oct 21, 1:30-3:30pm: Intro to Landscapes, structure, depicting space. Four 20 minute drawings and critique.
Oct 28, 1:30-3:30pm: One 10 minute drawing three 30 minute drawings and final critique.
