Do you like working with kids and families? The Family Fall Walkabout will be fun outdoor event led by naturalist Therese Oldenburg. We’ll have outdoor craft table (weather permitting) and you’ll help families make a simple wood ornament. You may also greet people and help them get oriented. The program runs 2-4pm and we ask you to be there about 1:15 to help set up.

Family Fall Walkabout Event Details: Make a Fall Memory Stick as you walk the trails along the creeks and river at Nature At The Confluence and see the changing prairie and woodland landscape of fall! Enjoy a roasted marshmallow as you gather around the toasty fire. Then get crafty with a cool Make-n-Take wood ornament before you leave for home with warm memories of a fun fall afternoon!
