Do you love to tend a fire? We have a great volunteer opportunity for you! We need a few people to tend our fire and help people with Marshmallow roasting for our Flashlight Friday Hike. You’ll stay and tend the fire and greet people at the fireplace while the hike leader takes people out for a night hike. You’ll help put out the fire and clean up at the end of the evening.
Flashlight Friday Night Hike Program description: Ever wonder what goes on at night in nature? Here’s your chance to find out! Grab your flashlight and join us as we head out into the woods to explore the nighttime sights, smells, and sounds on this guided hike on the wooded and prairie trails at Nature At The Confluence. Bring a flashlight and your sense of adventure! We’ll gather after our hike for roasted marshmallows around the toasty fire! Then you can run around on your own and play Flashlight Tag, Ghosts In The Graveyard or just wander with your light.
