We need volunteers who like to have fun with families and nature! We have a fun event planned and could use extra hands!
The Illinois Natural History Traveling Science Center will be making a stop at Nature At The Confluence for their 5th annual “Meet Me At The Confluence” season opening event. Families will be able to board this cool mobile exhibit to explore the informative, engaging science exhibits. In addition, families can pick up a map to help them find adventures in the Winnie the Pooh themed “Adventures In the 100 Acre Woods”. The theme is woven into features on the grounds such as Duffy’s Children’s Garden’s, Rabbit’s Vegetable Garden, Pooh’s Thoughtful Spot, and a life-sized metal sculpture of Christopher Robin. Kids can sign up to win their own stuffed Winnie The Pooh.
The Meet Me At The Confluence event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Nature At The Confluence, 306 Dickop Street, South Beloit, IL.
